The project deals with fabrication methods for developing complex morphologies within textiles. The method based on bonding rigid pattern upon Pre-stressed knitted fabric and the morphologies that developed while it released.
In the Flora and Fauna, thin materials grow and develop and eventually die and shrink. shrinking or growing on a flat surface is sometimes expressed as a deformation of the surface, Or in other words a transition from 2D to 3D.
The project relies on these principles in an attempt to define the transition between flat patterns and the result morphologies
